Laura has over 15 years of experience working in education and assessment.  She began in the Clinical Assessment business at Pearson where she was an Assessment Consultant for 10 years. In that time, Laura worked with many of the largest institutions across the US, helping guide their assessment programs.  Laura also worked in Higher Education where she was the Director of Business Development with the Accelerated Pathways business at Pearson.  There she helped corporations turn their tuition assistance benefits into a corporate strategy to train and retain their workforce with the primary focus of helping front-line workers gain upward mobility in their careers.  Laura was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with colleges across the country, curating a network of academic programs for their corporate partners and learners.  Laura currently works as a National Assessment Strategist at Riverside Insights where she consults with districts throughout California to  promote equity and excellence across their assessment models.

Laura holds an undergraduate degree in international business, an MBA with a specialization in marketing and recently completed a certificate program in data analytics and visualization.
