"Equitable Hiring Practices: From Promise to Practice" centers on the participants learning, experiencing, and gaining valuable insight on how to expand their hiring practices and equity work from the most important position of the District/Organization: Human Resources/Personnel Department. The practices connect three distinct focal points; equity, policies, and mentoring into one collaboratively administered through-line of Human Resources/Personnel Department. These practices are the steps of creating a cultural phenomenon and moving from the initiative of "hiring with equity in mind" to "equitable hiring."
